Performance Audit Report on the Management of Measures for Eliminating Violence Against Women and Children in Tanzania

This Performance Audit Report presents the audit findings, conclusions, and recommendations on the Management of Measures for Eliminating Violence against Women and Children as performed by the Ministry of Community Development, Gender, Women, and Special Groups and the President’s Office – Regional Administration and Local Government. 

The audit focused mainly on assessing the management of measures to eliminate violence against women and children in order to enhance equality, peace and prosperity for all citizens in the country. This included an assessment of the adequacy, implementation, coordination and tracking of the performance of the measures intended for eliminating violence against women and children. 

The audit covered four financial years from 2018/19 to 2021/22.
