This performance audit assessed whether EWURA’s regulation of water utilities improved access, quality, and sustainability of water and sanitation services. 

The audit found delays in license renewals, non-compliance with license conditions, ineffective tariff setting and monitoring, and inadequate water quality monitoring. 

The audit recommended strengthening enforcement, tariff regulation, coordination, and water quality monitoring to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
