Performance Audit Report on the Regulation of Technical Education

This performance audit aimed to determine whether the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, through the National Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET), has adequately regulated the provision of Technical Education and Training to ensure that graduates from Technical Institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world. 

The audit found inadequate regulation of the provision of Technical Education and Training in association with the Required Labor Market Demand, inadequate registration and accreditation of Technical Institutions and Technical Teachers and shortfalls in review and Approval of Curricula.
